CosmologyCosmology is the study of the beginning of the world, the universe. There are many versions of cosmologies and they can be in scientific and mythical forms.
The one I had chosen for this project is the Maori mythical cosmology for its rich imagery during my read, and I have created a cosmogram below to give my own understanding of the Maori cosmology. Each section of my drawing can be recognised as different children/gods presented in the Maori cosmology. Since I found a really strong sense of bonds when the gods were introduced, they were deliberately drawn in a way so that each element on the drawing can be represented differently if read in different ways. |

Experimental texture models
These are the experimental models trying to convey the texture details from the cosmology drawings to give them some senses of spatial qualities, therefore they can be used in an architectural context.
